He was born to Isabella Rowswell (1510 - 1591) and an unidentified father (presumably a Rowswell).
He married Johanna Best, presumably in Shepton Beauchamp. Together, they had 5 children, all in Shepton Beauchamp:
Christopher Rowswell
Margaretta Rowswell
Patrick Rowswell (1564 - 1587)
Isabella Rowswell (1580 - 1581)
Johes Rowswell (1581 - )
Peter apparently died in December, 1603 in Shepton Beauchamp. Johanna died 8 years later, in 1611.
