Lionel Norman Rowsell was born on September 15, 1915 in Enfield, Middlesex, England.
He was the son of Albert Tom Rowsell and Agnes Elizabeth Muncey. Altogether, they had 6 children.
In January, 1940, Lionel married Ruby Grace Wackett (July 26, 1992 - November, 1999), in Hatfield. They had one son.
Lionel died in March, 1979, in Hatfield.

I understand that a branch of the Rowsell family are called Norman-Rowsell due to a marriage between a Rowsell and a lady from the Norman family who had wanted her to retain the name and for the two to be joined.
